New Game Company with a Unique Game Approach — Games in Books and Over 80 Games in Four Months
While games have traditionally been published in books or produced as video games, now there is a new approach — games in a book, where players print and cut out the board and sometimes the board and game tokens, to play.
Now, a new game company, ALB Games, has launched this new approach to games — publishing them in a book, which makes it much faster and cheaper to produce these games. In the past four months, it has produced a line of over 80 games. The company specializes in card, communication, and party games for a broad range of players from 12 and up, and it features a wide variety of games, including games on travel, relationships, the environment, cars, crime, and more. The company got its start creating games about scams, including Scamalot and The Scam Game; then life and love in prison, success, relationships, world travel, everyday problems and solutions, and more. Most recently, the company has created a series of games on travel to different destinations around the world, and players have to tell if the facts about a country are real or fake. It has also created a card game for car enthusiasts Car Go!, which features collecting sets of cars from the seven major car companies.
While the games are published on Amazon, the company specializes in providing its games to organizations and associations interested in that topic, such as travel games for travel associations and tour guides; prison games for prison officials and associations of women in relationships with prisoners, car games for car clubs and associations, and scam games, well, maybe to scammers, as well as law enforcement officials. It has games about everyday problems and solutions and games to promote awareness about natural disasters and ways to deal with them.
The games have been developed by Gini Graham Scott, Ph.D., who used to be a full-time game designer in her 20s and signed games to major game publishers, including Parker Brothers and Hasbro Industries. Then, about 4 months ago, she returned to designing games after she created the scam games to promote a series of books and films about scams published by American Leadership Books and produced by Changemakers Productions and Dear Skyyler Productions. Aside from games, she is a prolific writer, who has published more than 250 books, over 50 with traditional publishers; has written over three dozen award winning scripts, has developed and produced 20 films released by major distributors, and has written over 150 songs featured on YouTube at Changemakers Music.
