How the White House Dog Type Race Has Changed
About two weeks ago when Biden was still running for President, I compared the leadership styles of Biden and Trump based on having different personality types. I did so using a new personality typing system I developed in the spirit of some traditional systems, such as Myers-Briggs, Color Profiling, and DISC — the Dog Type Personality System. The key difference is this system is based on four different dog types which have different leadership styles. I described Biden as a Golden Retriever, the supportive-helper type of leader, while Trump is like a German Shepherd, the dominant-aggressive type. And now that Harris has entered the race, she is a German Shepherd type, resulting in an even more intense battle between Trump and Harris.
As I previously wrote before Biden dropped out: “The last few months of the wild and crazy election race have shown the very different leadership styles of Joe Biden and Donald Trump, especially after the assassination attempt on Trump and RNC convention and after Biden’s battle to stay in the race. These different styles are highlighted in the unique Dog Type Personality System, which has parallels with other personality systems such as Myers-Briggs, Color Profiling, and DISC. It uniquely uses popular dog breeds to characterize the four key personality types for better understanding oneself and others.
I described how this system works in What Type of Dog Are You? published by Waterside Productions and in a series of workshops with groups of business and professional people. Now that veeps and other politicians with different personality types and leadership styles are running in various races, the system can be applied to any politician. And it can be applied, too, to anyone to better understand yourself and others and have better relationships in your work and personal life.
So with that change of focus and the change in who’s running, I revised the White House Dog Race Song, so now it applies to anyone running for President or any other office, as well as to better assessing the personality type of yourself and others, so you can better relate to them in everyday life. You can listen to the White House Dog Race Song on YouTube at https://youtu.be/20atG4k_DxU.
More details about this system are described in What Type of Dog Are You by Gini Graham Scott, PhD, published by Waterside Productions. There are also plans to develop a series of workshops, as well as a documentary about how different people are using the dog type system to better understand themselves and work with others. It will be filmed with Dear Skyyler Productions, a film production team I have worked with on 18 films, 15 in distribution by major distributors. Most recently, I worked with the team on a series of documentaries based on books I wrote about scams and the criminal justice system, published by American Leadership Books. These documentaries and books include: “Conned: A True Story” based on The Big Con” and “Con Artists Unveiled” turned into I Was Scammed. Both films are distributed by Gravitas Ventures. The books are on Amazon and the films can be seen on Apple TV: Conned: A True Story — Apple TV and Con Artists Unveiled — Apple TV. Another film, “Women in Prison or With Partners in Prison” is being launched at the American Film Market in November in Las Vegas based on two published books from American Leadership Books: Women with Partners in Prison and Women in Prison: Getting Locked Up, Being a Mother or in a Minority Group, and Getting Out.
